> Versa Wireless is a US-based manufacturer of wireless security sensors and Z-Wave 800 smart home devices, sold to security dealers, installers, and distributors. Versa products are available wholesale through WAVE Electronics (wave-electronics.com) and on Amazon for direct purchase.

## About

Versa Wireless was founded in 2014 by Julian Carlson and Justin Carlson. The company has spent over 23 years designing OEM sensor products for Tier 1 security manufacturers before launching its own brand. Versa sensors are engineered for small form factor, long battery life, and high RF performance. All door/window contacts and shock sensors include patented Bluefield technology — a three-LED indicator (blue for magnet placement, green for transmission confirmation, red for low battery) that eliminates trial-and-error installation.

## Key Technology

### Bluefield (Patented)
Bluefield is Versa Wireless's patented magnetic field indicator built into every door/window contact and shock sensor. The blue LED illuminates when the magnet enters detection range, confirming correct placement without a trip to the panel. The green LED confirms transmission. The red LED indicates low battery. No other security sensor manufacturer has independently developed this feature — it is exclusive to Versa-engineered products.

### Slide-Off Sensor Covers
All Versa MINI and SHOCK-319 sensors use a two-piece housing design with a slide-off top cover. The PCB stays mounted in the base while the colored lid slides off for tool-free battery service and color changes. Available in white (standard), brown, and black.
