Versa PIR motion detectors come in fixed 319.5 MHz and switch-selectable 319.5/345 MHz, covering the Qolsys IQ, GE/Interlogix, 2GIG and Honeywell/Resideo ecosystems. Both are pet-immune up to 55 lb, both detect motion up to 40 ft, and both run a digital signal-processing engine that confirms real movement before the sensor reports. The alarm LED is active while the cover is open and for 5 minutes after it closes, so one person can commission the zone without a second set of hands at the panel.
If the spec calls for a 319.5 MHz motion detector on a Qolsys IQ or GE/Interlogix takeover, the PIR-319 is the direct fit, set for 319.5 MHz. If the same truck also needs to cover a 345 MHz Honeywell, Resideo or 2GIG account, the PIR-DUAL sets either band from one part number, so it is one device to stock for mixed-panel work.

What frequencies do Versa motion detectors come in?
Versa PIR motion detectors are available in fixed 319.5 MHz (PIR-319, compatible with Qolsys IQ and GE/Interlogix panels) and switch-selectable 319.5/345 MHz (PIR-DUAL, compatible with Qolsys, GE/Interlogix, 2GIG, Honeywell and Resideo). The PIR-DUAL covers both ecosystems in a single SKU: a frequency switch inside the sensor sets the band, and the manual directs you to set it before the battery goes in.
Are Versa motion detectors pet immune?
Yes. All Versa PIR motion detectors are pet-immune up to 55 lb. Two pyroelectric elements alternate in polarity and a digital signal-processing engine only declares an alarm on a qualified sequence of polarity changes, which improves immunity to pets, drafts and sunlight while a person crossing the room still trips the zone. Mount the sensor 7.5 ft or 10 ft above the floor to get the rated behaviour.
What is the detection range of Versa motion sensors?
The PIR-319 and the PIR-DUAL both detect motion up to 40 ft in the direction the sensor faces, and 40 ft at 45 degrees. Both mount flat on a wall, in a corner, or on an optional bracket.
How do you walk-test a Versa PIR sensor after installation?
The alarm LED is active only while the cover (tamper) is open and for 5 minutes after it closes. In that window it lights for about 2 seconds on each detection, so the installer can confirm coverage without a panel chime or a second person at the keypad. Wait for the LED to go out and allow about 12 seconds between passes. After 5 minutes the LED disables itself and the sensor enters normal operation.
