Versa Wireless has named Tim Rader Vice President of Products & Innovation.
Effective July 1, 2026. Rader brings more than 40 years of security-industry experience, most recently as VP of Product Engineering at ADT, where he founded and ran the ADT Engineering Technology Center — a 10,000-square-foot device testing and certification facility in Boca Raton, Florida that became the industry standard for wireless security sensor qualification in North America.
There are people in the security industry who spend their careers approving other people's products. And then there are people who spend their careers imagining what those products should have been in the first place. Tim Rader has always been the second kind. 40 years of doing it right
Tim spent more than 40 years in the security industry — most recently at ADT and Brinks Home Security. He built the Engineering Technology Center from scratch, holds more than a dozen ADT-assigned patents, and has forgotten more about RF engineering and panel integration than most people in this industry have ever learned.

Kevin has spent decades developing, releasing and marketing products for the security channel based on customer feedback — starting with Ademco Group and continuing with leadership roles at Honeywell and Resideo, across residential and commercial controls, automation, sensors, wireless devices, and software. He is the lead or co-inventor on over 45 United States patents.
More than 20 years of security industry experience spanning Honeywell, Resideo, Tyco Integrated Security, ADT, and Inovonics. Led residential and commercial intrusion product initiatives from concept through commercialization — including building Inovonics' cloud services platform from the ground up.
A seasoned senior technical manager with 35 years of physical-security experience and a proven track record at Ademco, Honeywell, and Resideo. He combines technical mastery with commercial insight, and is recognized for exceptional troubleshooting and a commitment to top-tier customer support — with strong relationships and customer satisfaction at the core of his approach.
These are people who have spent entire careers on the same platforms and channels that Versa products are built for. Tim is genuinely excited to be working alongside them. What that combination — his platform knowledge, their channel and product depth, and what Versa has already built — produces is worth watching.
