SS&Si Now Carries Versa Wireless Sensors

Distribution news

SS&Si Dealer Network now carries Versa Wireless sensors, so you can order the Versa MINI-345, MINI-319, MINI-433, SHOCK-319, PIR-DUAL, LAMP-ZW2 and GNPC-1 from SS&Si's four branches.

We're really glad to share this one. As of October 19, 2026, SS&Si lists Versa Wireless as a manufacturer, with 11 of our part numbers on its Versa brand page. If you already buy Versa through WAVE Electronics, nothing changes there. You've just got a second distributor to call, and for a lot of dealers in the Southeast, the South Central states and the Mid-Atlantic, it's the one down the road.

The short version Open a dealer account with SS&Si, sign in, and the Versa line shows up at dealer pricing next to everything else you buy from them. The Versa MINI-345 is the one we think most of you will reach for first, because it's the same-size 345 MHz contact that the 5800MINI used to be.

What SS&Si is stocking from Versa

SS&Si lists 11 Versa part numbers, which covers all three of our security frequencies, a Z-Wave dimmer, a camera power supply and the colored lids. Here's what each one is and the part number you'll see on SS&Si's site, so you can match it to an order without guessing.

Who SS&Si Dealer Network is

SS&Si Dealer Network is a security distributor based in Deltona, Florida, and it sells to independent alarm and low-voltage dealers. It runs four branches: Deltona, Huntsville in Alabama, Tulsa in Oklahoma, and Williamsport in Maryland. SS&Si says that footprint gets 1-2 day ground shipping to more than 80 percent of the US population, according to SecurityInfoWatch's August 2025 report on its acquisition of FAST Security Distribution. That's the part that matters to you, because a sensor that's a day away is a sensor you don't have to keep a box of in the truck.

They've also grown fast. SDM reported that SS&Si made the 2025 Inc. 5000 at No. 2,459 with 172 percent revenue growth over three years, and doubled from two branches to four that year. SS&Si also runs a free branding program that prints a dealer's logo on a range of products (SDM covered it when the Tulsa branch opened), which is the "Free Branding" you'll see across the top of their store.

The MINI-345: the 5800MINI-size contact, now at SS&Si too

The Versa MINI-345 is a 345 MHz door and window sensor with a 2.2" x 1" x 0.25" body, which is the same size as the Honeywell 5800MINI it replaces. So it goes back on the old tape mark, and you learn the new serial into the same zone. The MINI-345 talks the 5800-series protocol and enrolls on loop 1 as a supervised zone on Honeywell VISTA panels with a 5800-series receiver, Honeywell Lyric, the 2GIG GC2, GC3, EDGE and GC Touch, and Resideo PROA7 and PROA7PLUS with a PROTAKEOVER set to rotary 0.

We're pointing at this one because the 5800MINIV, Resideo's replacement for the 5800MINI, is a different sensor. It's 2.44" x 1.25" x 0.45" against the Versa MINI-345's 2.2" x 1" x 0.25", which makes it two and a half times the volume, and it has no magnet-alignment LED. The MINI-345 keeps the blue Bluefield LED, which lights while the magnet is in range so you set the gap before you press the tape down. It runs on the CR2032 you already carry, rated 5+ years, and the lid slides off by hand, so a brown or black lid turns a white MINI-345 into the color the trim needs. And at dealer pricing, the Versa MINI-345 is less than half the price of a 5800MINIV.

We put the two side by side, with photos and both makers' documents, in 5800MINIV vs MINI-345. For the shorter answer to what replaces a 5800MINI, there's our 5800MINI alternative guide. If you'd rather start with the install steps, the MINI-345 installation manual walks through each panel.

The rest of the Versa line at SS&Si

SS&Si stocks five Versa security sensors across 319.5, 345 and 433 MHz, and every one is built around the same idea: one part that fits the panels you actually install, so you carry fewer SKUs. Here's how the line breaks down by job.

319.5 MHz

The Versa MINI-319 is the same 0.25" deep contact on 319.5 MHz for Qolsys IQ and GE/Interlogix panels. The SHOCK-319 adds a frame-mounted shock sensor to the contact on one zone, and runs 8+ years on one CR2. On a Qolsys IQ Panel 4 or IQ Panel 2+, fit Qolsys's 319.5 MHz RF module first.

433 MHz for DSC

The Versa MINI-433 is a 433 MHz contact for the DSC PowerSeries PC1832 and PC1864 with a 433 MHz wireless receiver, and for the DSC Impassa and Alexor. The MINI-433 has the same 2.2" x 1" x 0.25" body with a 1" gap on wood, and it programs as a standard contact zone.

Motion, both bands

The Versa PIR-DUAL switches between 319.5 MHz and 345 MHz, so one motion detector covers Qolsys and GE on one setting and Honeywell, Resideo and 2GIG on the other. The PIR-DUAL ignores pets up to 55 lb and runs 3+ years on one CR123A.

Outside the sensors, there are two more. The Versa LAMP-ZW2 is a Z-Wave 800 Long Range plug-in lamp dimmer, and it's officially Alarm.com approved, so you can add it to an Alarm.com account and control it from the same app your customer already uses. The Versa GNPC-1 is a 7.5V DC, 1.5A Class 2 supply with screw terminals for wired Google Nest Cam installs, and it's ETL listed by Intertek.

How to order Versa from SS&Si

Ordering Versa at SS&Si takes a dealer account, because SS&Si shows prices only after you sign in. If you don't have one yet, apply on SS&Si's new-dealer page or call them at 866-364-0030. Once you're in, every Versa part is on the Versa brand page, and the MINI-345 has its own listing.

WAVE Electronics still carries the full Versa line too, so you can buy from whichever of the two you already have an account with. Either way, the manuals, datasheets and panel guides for every part live in our installation manuals library, and every Versa contact is in the door and window sensors collection.

Want to try a few first? If you've never put a Versa sensor on a job, claim 5 free sensors. The form takes about 30 seconds, and it's open to active dealers in the US and Canada.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy Versa Wireless sensors?

Mostly through security distribution, and some parts are also sold direct on versawireless.com. As of October 19, 2026, SS&Si Dealer Network and WAVE Electronics both carry Versa Wireless sensors, and both sell to security dealers with a trade account. SS&Si's Versa page alone lists 11 Versa part numbers, from the MINI-345 to the colored lids.

Does SS&Si carry the Versa MINI-345?

Yes, SS&Si stocks the Versa MINI-345 as part number VER-MINI345, along with the MINI-319, MINI-433, SHOCK-319, PIR-DUAL, LAMP-ZW2, GNPC-1 and the brown and black lids. You'll need to sign in to an SS&Si dealer account to see the price.

What replaces the 5800MINI if I want the same size?

The Versa MINI-345. The MINI-345 is 2.2" x 1" x 0.25", the same as the 5800MINI, it has a blue Bluefield magnet-alignment LED, and it enrolls on loop 1 as a 5800-series 345 MHz sensor. Resideo's 5800MINIV is 2.44" x 1.25" x 0.45" with no LED, so the Versa MINI-345 is the one that keeps the original footprint. The MINI-345 is available at SS&Si and WAVE Electronics.

Where are SS&Si's branches?

SS&Si Dealer Network has four branches: Deltona, Florida, which is its headquarters, plus Huntsville, Alabama, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Williamsport, Maryland. SS&Si says they reach more than 80 percent of the US population with 1-2 day ground shipping.

Do I need a dealer account to buy Versa at SS&Si?

Yes. SS&Si shows Versa pricing only to signed-in dealers. You can apply at newdealer.ssandsi.com or call SS&Si at 866-364-0030.

Which Versa sensor works with a Qolsys panel?

The Versa MINI-319, SHOCK-319 and PIR-DUAL all transmit on 319.5 MHz for Qolsys IQ panels, and SS&Si stocks all three. On a Qolsys IQ Panel 4 or IQ Panel 2+, the panel needs Qolsys's 319.5 MHz RF module before the sensors will learn in.
