Overview
Contacts, shock and motion for every panel family
Versa Wireless intrusion sensors cover the perimeter and the interior of a professional alarm system, on the frequency your panel already receives. The MINI door and window contacts come in three bands. If the panel is a Qolsys IQ or a GE/Interlogix-class panel at 319.5 MHz, you want the MINI-319. The MINI-345 covers Honeywell, Resideo and 2GIG at 345 MHz. And the MINI-433 is the one for DSC PowerSeries, Impassa and Alexor at 433 MHz. So you stock one brand and fit whatever panel the job turns out to have.
All three contacts share the same 2.2 x 1 x 0.25 in. body. That quarter inch of depth lets them sit nearly flush on tight casing. Each one runs 5+ years on a Panasonic CR2032. The magnet holds up to 1 in. of gap on wood and 1/4 in. on metal. The patented Bluefield blue LED lights when the magnet is in range. So you confirm placement at the opening, and you skip the walk back to the keypad. The cover slides off by hand, which makes battery swaps and color changes a no-tools job.
Where the frame itself is the likely attack point, add the SHOCK-319. It puts a shock sensor and a door contact on one 319.5 MHz zone. It feels prying and kicking while the attack is still happening, and it runs 8+ years on one CR2 cell. Inside, the PIR-319 and the PIR-DUAL are the same pet-immune motion detector in two versions. Both ignore pets up to 55 lb, both see 40 ft, and both run 3+ years on one CR123A. The PIR-319 is fixed on 319.5 MHz, and the PIR-DUAL adds a 345 MHz setting on a switch.
Here's how the six fit together on a job. On a Qolsys or Interlogix account you run the MINI-319, the SHOCK-319 and either PIR on one 319.5 MHz band. On a Honeywell, Resideo or 2GIG account the MINI-345 covers the doors and windows. The PIR-DUAL set to 345 MHz covers the rooms. And on a DSC PowerSeries, Impassa or Alexor the MINI-433 is your contact. Each card below opens the product page, where you'll find the full figures for that sensor.
Pick by panel
Start with the frequency your panel receives
Find the card with your panel on it, and the chips underneath are the sensors that enroll on it.
Qolsys IQ and GE/Interlogix
Qolsys IQ Panel 2+, IQ Panel 4 and IQ Panel 5, once the Qolsys 319.5 MHz SRF card is in the slot. The same goes for GE/Interlogix-class 319.5 MHz panels. Four sensors share this band, so one account can run contacts, shock and motion together.
Honeywell, Resideo and 2GIG
Honeywell VISTA with a 5800-series receiver, Honeywell Lyric, and 2GIG GC2 / GC3 / EDGE / GC Touch. A Resideo PROA7 or PROA7PLUS hears it through a PROTAKEOVER module set to rotary 0. The MINI-345 is the contact for all of them. The PIR-DUAL set to 345 MHz covers the VISTA, the PROA7 and the 2GIG panels.
DSC PowerSeries, Impassa and Alexor
DSC PowerSeries PC1832 and PC1864 with a 433 MHz receiver such as the RF5132-433. The DSC Impassa and DSC Alexor receive 433 MHz already, so they take it as they are. The MINI-433 is the Versa part for this band, and it programs as a standard contact zone.
Not sure what your panel receives? The panel compatibility guide lists every Versa sensor by panel family. Our note on 319.5 MHz sensors and the IQ Panel 4 and 5 covers the SRF card part numbers and the software level.

Setup
Add any Versa intrusion sensor to a panel
Set it up, then fit the battery
The MINI contacts need nothing set, so you slide the cover off and fit the CR2032 plus side up. On the SHOCK-319 you set the REED SW DIP switch first, then fit the CR2U plus end up. On the PIRs you set the sensitivity jumper, and on the PIR-DUAL the frequency switch, before the CR123A goes in.
Put the panel in learn mode
Autolearn covers Qolsys, GE/Interlogix, Honeywell, Resideo and 2GIG, and on a Qolsys panel that's Auto Learn Sensor. On a DSC panel you start wireless enrollment for the MINI-433. A Qolsys panel needs the 319.5 MHz SRF card in the slot first.
Make it transmit
On a contact you open and close the magnet once, and on the SHOCK-319 you can tap the cover instead. On a PIR you insert the battery or open and close the cover. The panel picks up the sensor's serial number, and you name the zone and save.
Mount it and test it
On a contact, hold the magnet at the closed position and wait for the blue Bluefield LED before you commit the tape. Then run the panel's Go/No Go test from the mounting spot. On a PIR, mount it 7.5 ft or 10 ft up, close the cover and walk the coverage while the LED is live.
Mount a contact on the frame with the magnet on the part that moves. Keep both clear of metal, foil wallpaper and heavy electrical wiring. Aim a PIR so a likely path crosses its view, away from windows, sunlight, heaters and vents. The exact key presses for each panel are on the product page and in that sensor's installation manual.
Covers
Match the trim on the contacts
The MINI contacts and the SHOCK-319 ship white, and the brown and black cover packs slide on by hand. Each pack is ten sensor covers, ten magnet covers and ten magnet bases. The base stays on the frame and the sensor stays enrolled, so a color change is a lid change.

FAQ
Intrusion sensor questions installers ask
What intrusion sensors does Versa Wireless offer?
Three wireless door and window contacts, the MINI-319, MINI-345 and MINI-433, one for each of the 319.5, 345 and 433 MHz bands. A combined shock sensor and door contact, the SHOCK-319, on 319.5 MHz. And two pet-immune motion detectors, the PIR-319 fixed on 319.5 MHz and the PIR-DUAL, which switches between 319.5 and 345 MHz. So you cover the perimeter and the interior from one line.
Which security panels do Versa intrusion sensors work with?
Qolsys IQ Panel 2+, 4 and 5 with the 319.5 MHz SRF card, and GE/Interlogix-class panels, take the 319.5 MHz sensors. Honeywell VISTA and Lyric, 2GIG, and Resideo PROA7 with the PROTAKEOVER take the MINI-345. The PIR-DUAL set to 345 MHz covers the VISTA, PROA7 and 2GIG panels. DSC PowerSeries PC1832 and PC1864 with a 433 MHz receiver, Impassa and Alexor take the MINI-433.
So you pick each sensor by the frequency the panel receives, and the panel compatibility guide lists them all.
Does the SHOCK-319 detect glass breakage?
The SHOCK-319 is a shock sensor. It mounts on the door or window frame and feels the impact of a forced-entry attempt. So it trips during prying, kicking or striking, before entry. A glassbreak detector is a different device class. It's an acoustic sensor that sits in the room and listens for the sound of shattering glass. The two cover different failure modes, and many jobs use both.
Does a Qolsys IQ panel need anything extra for Versa 319.5 MHz sensors?
It needs the Qolsys 319.5 MHz SRF card in the slot. Those panels run PowerG plus one legacy band at a time, and the card sets that band. Once it's in, the IQ Panel 2+, IQ Panel 4 and IQ Panel 5 read the MINI-319, SHOCK-319, PIR-319 and PIR-DUAL on 319.5 MHz.
Some IQ Panel 4 models ship 319.5-ready from the factory, so check the model number before you order a card. Our Qolsys 319.5 MHz guide lists the part numbers and the panel software level.
Are the Versa motion detectors pet-immune?
Yes, both of them, up to 55 lb. The PIR-319 and PIR-DUAL use a dual-element PIR with a digital false-alarm rejection engine. They see 40 ft in the sensor-facing direction and 40 ft at 45 degrees.
Mount them 7.5 ft or 10 ft above the floor, because height is what keeps a pet in the lower part of the coverage. If a pet does trip the zone, you raise the sensor rather than drop the sensitivity.
Which motion detector do I need, the PIR-319 or the PIR-DUAL?
They're the same hardware, so it comes down to the account. The PIR-319 is fixed on 319.5 MHz. That's the direct fit when the account is Qolsys IQ or GE/Interlogix and will stay that way. The PIR-DUAL adds a 345 MHz setting on a switch, so one truck stock also covers Honeywell, Resideo and 2GIG.
Set that switch before the battery goes in. Both run 3+ years on one CR123A, so one spare battery and one bracket cover the pair.
How long do the batteries last?
The MINI contacts run 5+ years on one Panasonic CR2032. The SHOCK-319 runs 8+ years on one Versa CR2U, which is a Panasonic CR2. The PIR-319 and PIR-DUAL run 3+ years on one CR123A, and they send a supervised low-battery report to the panel.
On the contacts and the SHOCK-319 the cover slides off by hand. So you swap the cell with the sensor still on the frame, and the zone stays enrolled.
Where do dealers buy Versa intrusion sensors?
Through Versa's distributors, the SS&Si Dealer Network and WAVE Electronics on your dealer account, or direct on this site. The distributor buttons at the top of this page open each one. The Where to Buy page lists every Versa distributor. If you install professionally and don't have a wholesale account yet, contact Versa Wireless and we'll get you set up.
