After any cover change, re-test the sensor at the panel. Use the control panel's sensor test or Go/No Go test before you leave the site, and confirm the zone restores with the door or window closed. Seat the magnet base on the moving part of the opening and keep the gap inside the sensor's published limit. These are cosmetic housing parts for indoor, dry locations. Refer to the control panel instructions for the limitations of the whole alarm system.

Not on its own. The sensor base and the magnet base both stay mounted, and only the outer covers change. If you also re-seat the magnet base, confirm the zone restores at the panel with the door or window closed before you leave.
Does one MINI cover fit all three MINI sensors?
Yes. One cover fits all three. The MINI-319, MINI-345 and MINI-433 use the same housing, so what changes between them is the radio inside, not the shell.
